Montessori in Aged Care
The concept of "Montessori" is generally discussed in relation to the education of children, and yet its principles can be used much further afield, as will become obvious at this event Montessori for Aging and Dementia is an innovative approach to dementia care that may be accepted for individuals or groups as a philosophy of care. The aim of the philosophy is to support people with dementia by treating them with dignity and respect, allowing them to make decisions and live as independently as possible.
